Bhāratī Tīrtha's garland on the Brahma-sūtra — each adhikaraṇa as the five limbs, with the couplet that holds the doubt and the couplet that answers it.
Each adhikaraṇa is set as the five limbs in order. The first four are the transmitted text of Bhāratī Tīrtha, on the Brahma-sūtra of Bādarāyaṇa, four adhyāyas. The fifth, saṅgati, neither author states adhikaraṇa by adhikaraṇa — both instruct that it be inferred once the topics of śāstra, adhyāya and pāda are known — so it is composed here and marked ऊहिता. The kind of avāntara-saṅgati is left open for a reading.
