An institution of eminence for the study of Veda, Vedāṅga and Vedic philosophy. All four Vedas are taught in the traditional gurukula manner, with their own śākhās, their Brāhmaṇas and Āraṇyakas, and the full complement of recitation methods up to Ghana Pāṭha. Viṣṭaram is the teaching and publishing body whose 72-volume Series forms the training spine of the SarvaVeda model.
A Ghanapāṭhī of the Kṛṣṇa Yajurveda and an upāsaka of all four Vedas, who founded Viṣṭaram in 2015 and directs both its teaching and its publishing programme.

The residential day opens with āvṛtti at 5:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM, structured around recitation, with breaks for sandhyā, meals and personal development. Modern subjects are taught alongside, so that a student leaves with both the tradition and a recognised degree.
Nine scholars teach across the four Vedas, the Vedāṅgas and the ritual disciplines. The same faculty serve on the scholar review panel that validates corpus quality and grades every SarvaVeda model output.
An Advisory Committee of scholars, traditional Vedic experts and community leaders guides the institution's academic direction.
Admission is deliberately small. A student who completes the programme holds both the traditional oral qualification and a mainstream university degree.

Affiliated to Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi. Examinations are conducted through Karnataka Sanskrit University or Sri Venkateswara Vedic University. Students are assessed by traditional oral examination in addition to the university degree assessment.
